Paul Kenneth Fisher, 27, was shot and killed Saturday, July 25, 2009 just after 2:00 a.m. The shooting occurred in stairwell of the apartment he shared with his girlfriend located at 5301 Chicago Ave. S. in Minneapolis.  The motive for this shooting is unknown, and the murderer is still at large.Paul

Paul’s family and friends are trying to raise money for a reward so that someone with information will come forward. Whoever did this is still a threat to society, and needs to be punished for this senseless violence. Words can not accurately describe the hurt this crime has caused.

Paul Fisher was a follower of Jesus Christ his entire life. He would attend Church nearly every Sunday with his family and his girlfriend.  Paul particularly enjoyed the Bible Studies given by Pastor Christopher Dodge. He loved listening to Pastor Dodge speak about his Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. Paul also loved going to his Grandmother Punky’s house every Sunday after Church for breakfast.

Everyone who knew Paul loved him, especially children. Although Paul had a special connection with his niece Gabrielle Busch, all kids gravitated toward him.  Paul had all the qualities of a wonderful future father. Paul and his girlfriend, Andrea Hintz, had hoped to one day get married, buy a house, and raise children of their very own.

Paul also hoped to one day start his very own painting business. He took a lot of pride in his job as a professional painter.  He thoroughly enjoyed what he did, and he was very talented at it.  Paul’s co-workers appreciated his hard work, and fun personality on the job.

Paul also had a love for sports. He loved the Minnesota Twins first and foremost, but he really liked all sports including, football, basketball, and hockey.  He would wake up every morning to ESPN’s Sportscenter, just to keep up with the latest sports news.  Paul really enjoyed playing softball over the past few summers with his softball team, “Mug’s & Jug’s”.  He played sports his entire life, and was involved with dance as well.  He danced at his Grandmother”s dance studio, “Monique School of Dance”.

Paul Fisher loved his life, friends, girlfriend, and family. His laughter was contagious, and his smile would light up the room. His dimple would, in his words, “Get them every time!”. Paul had a charming personality, and a wonderful sense of humor. Anyone who ever got the opportunity to meet Paul Fisher, instantly liked him.  He was one of those people who carried a special light inside that everyone was drawn to, which makes this tragedy even more confusing and senseless. His heart was a heart made of gold, and to know Paul was to love Paul.
